OUR TEAM
Climate Front India (CFI) has a National Action Committee (NAC) that works in conjunction with its Local Action Body (LAB).
National Action Committee (NAC)
The NAC consists of the founding Board of Directors along with elected members from the Local Action Bodies (LABs) and incumbent presidents from NAC.
Responsibilities of the NAC include:
Daily Administration: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of Climate Front India.
National Action Plan: Preparing an annual national action plan to guide the organization’s activities and goals.
Expansion: Facilitating the creation and development of new LABs across different regions.
Support: Assisting existing LABs, particularly those that are evolving or facing challenges, to ensure they function effectively and meet organizational objectives.
Local Action Bodies (LABs)
Local Action Bodies (LAB) must have a minimum of 10 members to be considered fully functional.
LABs with fewer than 10 members are termed evolving LABs and receive support from geographically close LABs and the NAC.
Membership in LABs starts with volunteers who, after three months of active participation, become permanent members with voting rights and eligibility to hold office.
